Those of you that know me know that I am passionate about public service and political decision making. At this point in my life I have decided that it is my time to step up and do something meaningful for our community. My wife and daughter are inspiring me in new ways and I believe that I can make a difference in our future. This difference will find ethical ways to attract better jobs, bring people together to plan our growth and take advantage of the opportunities this growth creates, increase our security, and accelerate the improvements that we are seeing in our existing neighborhoods.

Above all, I can work with others and find common solutions to problems we face. I value people's opinions, the diversity of opinions that exist and am ready to listen to you when making decisions. The best leaders in history are able to bring people together to accomplish great things. I believe that I have this quality and will use it make our community a better place.

I love this community; the environment, the people, the FOOD, and I am running for commissioner because I see a community where people who love it come together to find the ways to make it a better place for our children. And I plan to bring people together to make this happen.

I see a community where we all agree that we should have well managed growth. I see a community where our higher quality of life and affordable cost of living attract more economic development. I see a community where developers work hand in hand with environmentalists to protect the environment and the preserve mountain ranges that define our sky lines. I see a community with fewer teenage pregnancies, a smaller percentage of people with diabetes, and more education programs to help those fighting addictions. And I see a community where we no longer have residents living in third world conditions and our existing neighborhoods have been lifted up to the standards of the 21st century.

We need representatives who are proactive and will make this vision happen. We won't achieve these goals by sitting around and waiting for others to make it happen. We won't achieve these goals by being antagonistic and arrogant. We must wake up every day devoted to the hard work that it will take to make it possible. I am this person.

I have spent the last 12 years of my life working hard and achieving difficult goals. I have college degrees in Journalism and Government. I have taught a college level course on American Government. I have helped start a local real estate publication. I have spent the last three years helping a small business become an established marketing firm. And I have been active in the community raising money for great causes. All of these tasks have taken hard work and a devotion to bringing people together. My unique combination of youthful motivation, education, experience with small businesses and the family values that motivate me make me the right person for this job. I will be an ethical leader in our community who is committed to making fair decisions.

I am now ready to devote all of my energies to seeing my dreams for this community become a reality. I will work hard every day bringing people together to make this happen. I will do it for my daughter. I will do it for my wife. And I will do it for you and your family. I am asking for you to join me in this effort. I need your vote to make this a reality. Together we can make a difference. Thank you.
