Our Community

Dona Ana County is the fastest growing county in New Mexico. It is estimated that we have a population of about 200,000. Created in 1852, Dona Ana County is is the second most populated county in NM. Our strong sense of community is enhanced by our beautiful surroundings and long history.

We have a fast growing and diverse community. While Las Cruces has been recognized as one of the best places to retire and start a small business, we also have 37 colonias that need lifting up to 21st century standards. We have much to be proud of, but we have a lot of work to do to be proud of it all.
